Govt must address demands of agitating dentists: AAP | | | SRINAGAR, July 12: Showing its solidarity with the dental surgeons who are on the fast unto death at Jammu, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has said that Government must address their genuine grievances and demands on top priority so that these professionals are absorbed under various schemes like NRHM etc. In a statement issued here AAP leader and Member of its National Executive Council Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat said that it is an apathy on part of the Government that professionals and technocrats in the state are now coming to streets and protesting against the Government for its failure to address their genuine demands . "It is now more than a week since a large group of young dental surgeons have been on a fast unto death protesting against the Government but how sad it is on part of the Government which claims of being the saviors of youth that not even a single Government official was asked to visit these agitating doctors who have been fasting in such a hot weather conditions in Jammu city " said Dr Muzaffar He added that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) shows its full sympathy with the Dental Surgeons Associations Jammu Kashmir (DSA-JK) and urged upon the Government to address their demands. |
