Prominent writer joins PDP in Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
kishtwar, Nov 14: One of the prominent writer, poet and educationist of Kishtwar Jagdish Raj Rana also known as Ushaaq Kishtwari today joined Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) here before party candidate Firdous Ahmed Tak. On the eve of joining ceremony, PDP candidate Kishtwar Firdous Ahmed Tak said that party feel proud to have such a prominent personality among us. He said that PDP is a team of intellectuals and visionaries who always stood for the downtrodden and needy peoples. "Only PDP will accumulate the resources for the betterment and development of this region --- I would like to urge the people of Kishtwar to strengthen the hands of PDP in upcoming elections," said Tak. While speaking on the occasion, JR Rana said that he feel very glad to work under the banner of PDP, as only PDP could ensure a revolutionary change for the people of Kishtwar. "We are now living in a muck of NC leadership where the concept of development breathed last several years ago. There is unrest and confusion among the youths due to increasing unemployment in Kishtwar," said Rana. He said that Kishtwar had potential of natural resources for generation of employment, added that NC and Congress couldn't concentrate on it as a result of which there is anger among the people who are desperate to bring change in favour of PDP.
