NSF criticizes JU for delay in Re-evaluation results of BA, B.Com, BSc part-II | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 14: Agitated over the lack of response from the Controller of Examination, Prof. Kesav Sharma, on the issue of non-declaration of results of the different Department of Jammu University, also criticized the JU for delay in Re-evaluation results of BA, B.Com, and BSc part-II. Surjit Choudhary Sr. Vice-President NSF said that Information results of examination obtained under RTI reveals that the Examination wing of the University goes beyond time frame fixed for declaration of results of examination being conducted by the institution of higher education. "The Examination wing declared results of re-evaluation in 90 days for a single candidate in first semester of MDP in Psychology, Buddhist Studies, Music, Zoology, Education and Sanskrit. From December/ January 2012-13", the RTI revealed, adding that there more cases where the wing took more than four months to declare the result. The information provided by the University further revealed that the results of students who were pursuing their Master Degree in various courses at JU have to wait for more than four month to get re-revaluation results. "Re-revaluation results Electronic, Physic, Geology, Economics, Chemistry, English, Political Sciences and Sociology first semester, Psychology, Environment Science, Electronic, Physic, Zoology and Geology 3rd semester were declared even after four months", the RTI disclosed.
