Pawan files his papers as 'independent' from Udhampur 11/14/2014 11:40:09 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Nov 14 : Independent candidate from Udhampur, Pawan Kumar Gupta today filed his nomination papers on here on Friday. Celebrating the occasion, thousands of his supporters led him in shape of procession from his residence and after passing through the city the rally culminated at Mini stadium, Town Hall where he held his first rally. Ralliests listened to the locals speakers for over four hours to listen to their popular leader Pawan Kumar Gupta who in his address declared that real democracy is above parties and leaders. He promised to provide electricity and water to the remotest of villages. He reassured people to bring the Urban Renewal Mission Project worth several hundred crore to the city within one year of his being getting mandate. He also promised to upgrade schools in several villages to 10+2 level to facilitate easy access to higher education.
