| CJ inaugurates Munsiff Court at Nobra through Video conferencing | | |

Jammu, Nov 14: Chief Justice of J&K High Court M M Kumar today inaugurated Munsiff Court Nobra and Alternate Dispute Redressal Centre at Leh was inaugurated by Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir through inexpensive mode of Video conferencing.
The ADR centre has been constructed at Leh at a cost of Rs 77.91 lakhs and the Munsiff Court building Nobra has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1.26 Crores.
In this program Justice Ali Mohd Magrey and Justice Tashi Rabstan were also present and the Principal District & Sessions Judge Leh Kishore Kumar along with other Judicial Officers and President Bar Association Leh and other bar members also attended the inaugural function.
While inaugurating the Building and the ADR Centre, Chief Justice highlighted the importance of the ADR mechanism and the outcome of such centres that have yielded till date. He also impressed upon the judicial officers to make full use of these centres in order to guide and help general public to settle their dispute through alternate redressal system. —JNF |
