United Blues, Rehari Club win in Eid-Diwali MilanT20 Cup

Jammu, Nov 14: United Blues, Rehari Club and Country Cricket Club won their respective matches to strengthen their positions in the ongoing league round of the IIIrd Eid-Diwali Milan Twenty20 Cricket Cup at Gulshan Ground, here today.
In the first match of the day, United Blues defeated RCC Cricket Club by six wickets. Batting first, RCC Club made 149 runs in the allotted 18 overs for loss of six wickets with Rahul Musa (75), Kuldeep (16) and Happy (14) being main scorers. Abdul Majid took two wickets while Danish, Taju and Rayees shared apiece each from United Blues.
United Blues XI, in reply, chased the target in 17 overs for the loss of four wicket. Habib (53), Rayees (41) and Ahmer (34) were the main scorers. Rohit, Sahil and Kuldeep shared one wicket each. Rayees declared man of the match.
In the second match, Rehari Club scripted a comfortable five wickets win against Tanishta Cricket Club. Batting first, Tanishta Club made 179 runs in the allotted 18 overs for the loss of four wickets. Sidharth (81), Deepak (41) and Hunny (19) remained top scorers. Parveen took two wickets while Raman Dutta and Rohit shared apiece each from Rehari Club.
In reply, Rehari Club achieved the target in 17 overs for the loss of five wickets. Manish Dogra made 68 runs while Sahil Balwal and Shahzad contributed 43 and 34 runs respectively. Deepak and Vishal took shared two wickets each. Manish Dogra named man of the match.
In another match of the day, Country Academy registered an outright 10-wicket win against Atman Club. Batting first, Atman Club scored 149 runs in the allotted 18 overs losing seven wickets. Manpreet (54), Abhay (36) and Vicky (14) were main scorers. Yogesh took four wickets while Sant Baksh bagged two from Country Academy.
Later, Country Academy achieved the target in 15 overs without loss. Rakesh and Yogesh Sikka made unbeaten 101 and 41 respectively. Rakesh declared man of the match. Today's matches officiated by the technical penal comprising Sunil Sambyal, Abhijot bedi, Sandeep Manchanda, Suhail Yusuf ,Farooq Ahmad, and Yogesh.
In today's matches, AIG-CIV, PHQ, SR Mishra was special guest, who witnessed the games.
FIXTURE: United Blues V/S Cantonment Club at 8 am; Rehari Club V/S Akhnoor Cricket Club at 11 am; Country Cricket Academy XI V/S ICC at 1 pm tomorrow.
