BJP committed to Mission 44+, integration of JK with India : Shah
11/20/2014 11:19:07 PM
Ramban, Nov 20: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah has said that the party is not only vying to target for mission 44+ in Jammu and Kashmir but is committedly bound for its integration with India. Amit Shah's indication towards 'complete integration' of the state with government of India comes as a straight dig against the propaganda generated by the rival parties over Art 370 in the state that made it ample clear that the provisions of Art 370 are likely to be taken care of, if BJP comes to power in the state. The BJP manifesto, still not public, contains an exhaustive debate on the Art 370 besides public opinion to be generated on it as to whether it has done harm or good, as disclosed by the sources privy to the contents of the manifesto. Amit Shah was addressing a public rally at Ramban, on Thursday. " Mission 44+ is not just a figure desired by BJP in Jammu and Kashmir , but is a signal towards attainment of complete majority here under the dynamism of Prime Minister Narinder Modi as has been achieved at national level," said the BJP national president. Shah kept his speech focussed on the corruption, embezzlements and scam committed by national Conference and Congress coalition in the state. "I assure, once the BJP comes to power in Jammu and Kashmir, it will undo all felonies committed by the earlier dynastic regimes in the state," he said. He said that past 60 years of governance in the state under the Congress led coalitions have dragged the state to the backwardness and acute poverty. He appealed to the people of Ramban not fall prey to the machinations of the rival parties and support BJP to get rid of the dynastic rulers in Jammu and Kashmir. Blaming Congress for always playing second fiddle to either NC or PDP for remaining in power in Jammu and Kashmir, Shah said that crores of rupees funded by Government of India were either swindled by the coalition governments or were used by the familial regimes to fill their coffers only. He also mentioned the scams amounting to Rs 1.25 lakh crores done by the UPA in 2G, helicopters purchase, coal, submarine deal and flats given to widows of martyrs.
Amit Shah also made a scathing attack on chief minister Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah to have deserted their 'home constituencies' while leaving people aghast.
He also mocked Congress leader GhulamNabi Azad as well as JKPCC chief Saif-ud-din Soz to have failed to contest themselves as peoples representatives in the state and instead carrying out 'mischievous' propaganda against BJP to be harping on divisive communal agenda. Shah also did not forget to target UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi daring her to disclose Congress' development deeds since past sixty years while throwing a challenge that BJP's five months' rule have brought 'glaring' changes benefiting 1.25 crore people of India. This included his emphasis on the befitting reply to Pakistan's mischiefs also. Neelam Kumar Langeh, BJP Ramban candidate, senior party leader Farooq Khan and Kashmir Lal, state secretary S C Morcha Punjab shared the dias with Shah.
