| Two killed, seven injured in Bani road mishap | | | Early Times Report
Bani, Nov 22: Two persons were killed while seven others sustained injuries when an auto rickshaw on its way from Sarthali to Bani rolled down into a deep gorge today in Bani of Kathua district, police sources said. As per police sources, the deceased have been identified namely as Haroon Malik Junior Assistant and Shakeel Ahemd the auto driver who died on the spot." "As per report the ill-fated auto was on its way from Sarthali to Bani and the driver lost the control over vehicle resulting it skidding off the road and rolling down into a deep gorge. Police sources said, "Seven others injured have been identified namely as Hans Raj, Chajju Ram, Naresh Kumar, Girdhari Lal, Shanti Devi and her minor child. Soon after accident local rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to nearby Hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile Sitting MLA from Bani Master Lal Chand also rushed to Hospital to inquire well being of injured. Master Lal Chand also has extended his heartfelt sympathies to bereaved families who have lost their kin. |
