| Overall development, economic growth PDP's main agenda: Waffa | | | Early Times Report
NAGROTA, Nov 26: Seeking support of every section of society in the assembly elections, PDP senior leader and the party candidate from Nagrota Constituency, Choudhary Hussain Ali Waffa appealed to the people of the area to cast their vote in favour of him and his party in large number so that a new system of justice and equality would be launched for the overall development and economic growth.
Waffa today addressed a series of public meeting at various villages falling under Nagrota constituency including Bantalab, Dhok Waziran, Katal Bataal, Palpar and Bambyal.
While addressing the meeting, Waffa said the people of Nagrota constituency have been facing lot of problems due to the negligence of sitting MLA and present state government. The people of the area apprised the PDP leader that they been facing problems related to power, water and roads. They alleged that they suffered huge losses in the recent flash floods but no proper compensation has been provided from the government.
Waffa said the present coalition government has been responsible for the destruction of the State. Waffa emphasized that if his party is voted to power the sufferings of the people of the area would be solved on priority basis.
Waffa said the three years tenure of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed government was the golden era in the state in which massive development took place and many policies were launched for the welfare of the people of the state. He said during the tenure of PDP policy of inclusive growth and development was implemented which yielded very encouraging results.
Highlighting the policies and programmes of the party, Waffa said PDP is committed to formulate a comprehensive policy for the over-all growth and upliftment of the far-flung backward areas. He assured the people that besides accelerating developmental activities in this most backward and poverty stricken areas of Nagrota Constituency, PDP would also political empower ethnic and religious minorities of this belt to provide them equal opportunities.
Waffa emphasized that PDP's agenda is not only to attain power in the elections but to protect dignity and honour of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and to provide justice to all sections of the society.
Prominent among those who were present in the meetings include Ex MLC Haji Nizam Din Khatana, Neeraj Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Kuldeep Sharma, Sandeep Jamwal and Amanat Ali. |
