Saraf urges people to vote for development

KATRA, Nov 26: Asserting that the people are the stakeholders in development, independent candidate from Reasi assembly segment Saraf Singh Naag held at massive election campaign rally here in Katra town While addressing a mammoth gathering of about 10000 participants, Saraf said that time has come to choose a right candidate who fulfills the wishes and aspirations of people and takes people of the area along to work for their overall development.
He said that people are a force and can transform their aspirations into reality by casting their valuable votes in favour of right candidate who dedicates himself for progress and development of the area. Saraf who was given a warm reception by the people said his focus will be always on the development of the area and progress of all stakeholders. He added basic facilities like power, water, roads and other infrastructure will be provided to people without any caste, creed, colour and religion if voted to power.
Highlighting various issues and problems, he said that Katra Reasi is yet to complete despite of its start from last 15 years. He added that people are facing huge problems due to non completion of road of Katra and Reasi besides giving bad experience to the pilgrims coming to have holy darshan of Mata Vaishnio Devi, Baba Jeeto, Baba Dansar, Baba Siar and other places of Reasi. Saraf also raised the issue of people who land comes under Shrine Board university by saying that university authorities promises to give permanent job to those whose land comes under university but it's unfortunate that the they are working as causal labour in University.
He also raised the problems of casusal labour working in Katra Municipal Committee and assured that this issue would be taken on priority basis. He also highlighted the issue of Baridhars of Mata Vaishno Devi who have not been given due share by the Shrine Board.
Saraf assured to take all the pending issues on priority if voted to power. He said that he is committed for the overall development of Katra but for this he sought support and vote from the all sections and people of Katra.
