Early Times Report

JAMMU, Nov 26: Leaders of Duggar Pradesh Party while carrying out the election campaign said there is no difference between the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party as their style of functioning almost same.
The leaders of the party said that Congress and BJP candidates are campaigning in elections by spending crores on publicity to confuse and exploit public, both observing criminal silence on constant all-round price rise by not taking any action against profiteers and hoarders, and both are not serious rather interested to bring strict laws like Jan Lok Pal proposed by Anna Hazare & his associates to curb the menace of corruption.
Uday Chand, President of the Party and candidate from Jammu West Assembly segment said both BJP and Congress took the people of Jammu region for granted and always surrendered the interests of Jammu people before the Kashmiri leadership. Uday said that while as one ditched as opposition while observing criminal silence on constant discrimination, ill treatment while as the other ditched through power once with PDP and then with NC by masterminding rampant corruption in almost all government projects, works.
Uday said it has become tradition since 1947 that people of Jammu to launch agitation after every discriminatory act of government, every list of selection in employment, promotions, lists of selections in Medical and Engineering institutions, Polytechnic Institutions, lists of Public Service Commissions are self-explanatory and the elected representatives belonging to Congress, BJP from Jammu never express even serious concern on such irregularities.
Uday while addressing the prominent citizens of Jammu West at party headquarters at Janipur said why Congress, BJP, National Panthers Party legislatures elected by the people of Jammu, not resisted, agitated on the motion of National Conference regarding the ban on delimitation of assembly seats up to 2026 which was totally unconstitutional? He said this is an act to continue the political slavery on Jammu region because in 1950, Kashmiri leadership tactfully kept 10 seats less in Jammu region as compared to Kashmir and ban on delimitation of constituencies till 2026 is a part of their malice attention towards Jammu.
The meeting was addressed by Mohan Singh, Secretary General, S Inderpal Singh and Varsha Kapoor, both General Secretaries, Mangal Dass, District Secretary, Ashok Singh Jasrotia, Om Prakash Sharma, Ram Singh, Kulveer Charak, Secretaries.
