Jammu, Mar 4: A delegation of Safai Karamcharis Union Urban Local Bodies today called on Director Urban Local Bodies, K L Khajuria and urged him to release the salaries of civic workers.
Led by its president Dev Anand Gill, the delegation called on Khajuria and urged him to address the genuine issue of deprived community.
They asked Khajuria to immediately release the salary of civic workers. Gill said that in absence of salaries the children of civic workers are not allowed to sit in examination, which is also a humiliation.
Gill also demanded earlier release of pending installment of DA arrears and regularizations of civic workers who has completed seven years in service. |
