Various organizations pay tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev

Jammu, Mar 23: Shaheed Bhagat Singh Brigade (SBSB) today paid rich tributes to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their death anniversary. The day celebrated as Balidaan Diwas was organized under the auspices of Chairman Shaheed Bhagat Singh Brigade Anil Gupta (Annu) at Baby caterers , Rehari.
Chander Mohan Sharma (Senior BJP Leader) presided over the function, whereas Sh. Ashok Kaul (General Secretary Organisation, BJP) was the chief guest on the occasion. During the function several prominent people of the Jammu threw light on the history of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Portraits of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were garlanded.
Paying tribute to the martyrs on the occasion, Chairman Bhagat Singh Brigade Anil Gupta Said, " The Nation was shaken on the hanging of these young men and decided to take on British rulers collectively and more vigorously. The sacrifices of these three youth have brunt the fruit, Today we are here to live with liberty and honour as the outcome of those sacrifices. Youth should follow the trend and be always ready to offer sacrifices for saving the sovereignty and honour of mother land. He Said Shaheed Bhagat Singh Brigade shall organize various charitable and awareness programmes to extend help to needy , ailed and other down trodden sections of society. Saluting the Martyrs of 23 March 1931,General Secretary Organization BJP Ashok Kaul stressed for the need to develop the spirit of patriotism in youths and educating of the younger generation about the sacrifices offered to attain the Independence of Nation. Jammu & Kashmir Youth Club (JKYC) organized a rally to remember the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev & Other freedom Fighters who sacrificed their precious life for our country at Press Club Jammu. Vikram Singh along with Jagdeep Chahal , Vishavjit Singh, Karandeep Singh, Shuvam Mahajan, Ranjot Singh, Simran Singh paid Floral Tributes to the Martyrs and recalled their sacrifices; showered flowers on their photographs and lit candles in their honour. Youths from different walks of life participated and threw light over the life history of the Martyrs. They also remembered Netaji Subash Chander Bose, Chander Sekhar Azad, Ashfaq-Ulla-Khan, Abdul Majid, Maharani Luxmi Bai, Mangal Pandey and all other known and unknown freedom fighters, who opened the gates of freedom for the country-men by their dedication and sacrifices. The Sikh Youth Welfare Society, SYWS, Kathua today paid rich homage to Shaheed-e- Azam Bhagat Singh on his 84th Martyrdom day. Bhagat Singh , Rajguru and Sukhdev were sentenced to death in the Lahore conspiracy case and ordered to be hanged on 24 March 1931.
While speaking in a brief Function here at Kathua Bhupinder Singh, President of SYWS said Bhagat Singh who sacrificed his life to attain freedom from British rule, will always remain in hearts of Indian Youths. He said their sacrifice born several Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev in India. He said their sacrifice will be remembered for long as they are icons for Indian Youth. Bhupinder repeated long pending demands of Sikh organizations for depicting Bhagat Singh's picture on Indian Currency. Bhu-pinder Singh said Bhagat Singh was hanged after conspiracy extremists as several other freedom fighters also committed same incidents but left after few months' punishment. He said the schedule was moved forward by 11 hours and he was hanged on 23 March 1931 at 7:30 pm in Lahore jail with his comrades Rajguru and Sukhdev.
