Jammu, Mar 23 : Sub Registrar Jammu Khem Raj Sharma today rejected the bail application of one Paramjeet Singh who was booked by the Crime Branch Jammu for securing Government job on fake documents. According to the FIR registered against Paramjeet Singh of Sarian, Ward number 7 Poonch, Naseer Ahmed Jan of Ugjan, Dialgam, Anantnag, Shabir Ahmed Mantoo of Bhan, Kulgam and Nazir Ahmed Bhat of Bhan Kulgam. The action was initiated on a complaint alleging that the candidates selected as Physical Education Teachers (PET) in District cadre Reasi have produced fake qualification, date of birth and eligibility certificates. During the course of enquiry, it was found that Paramjeet Singh had produced a fake date of birth certificate indicating his DOB as 04.04.1968 whereas his actual DOB as per Board records was 04.04.1967. Similarly, accused Naseer Ahmed Jan had produced a fake National Certificate of J&K Atya Patya Association for securing his selection whereas he had never participated in the said event. It also came to fore that accused Shabir Ahmed Mantoo and Nazir Ahmed Bhat had produced degrees of BA, procured from Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad, Lucknow, which was not recognized by UGC. Accordingly, case FIR number 11/2015 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 RPC was registered in Crime Branch. Sub Registrar Jammu Khem Raj Sharma after hearing Prosecuting Officer Yogesh Nagpal observed that the case is at initial stage and case is at heinous stage and in the present set of circusmatnces it can not be ruled out that custodial investigation for the accused person is required for its logical conclusions.
