HCBA condemns recent terrorist attacks in Kathua, Samba

Jammu, Mar 23 : Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu condemned the recent militant attacks that took place at Kathua and Samba districts, in which 3 security personnel and 2 civilians lost their lives, leaving 10 people injured. In a statement issued here, the President of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, while landing the role of Army and Police in dealing with the terror attacks impressed upon the need of strengthening security at border areas and also in police stations in these border districts. He further appealed to the state govt., not to ignore the border villages and impressed upon the need for upgrading the VDC's and for creation of more VDC's in effectively countering terrorist attacks.
The members present also urged the state government to pay immediate compensation and ex-gratia to affected families of those who lost their lives and those who have been injured. The meeting was attended by office bearers of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, Abhinav Sharma (President), Pranav Kohli (Vice President), AP Singh (General Secretary), Depesh Singh Pawar (Joint Secretary), Rahul Sharma (Cashier), Daljeet Singh Manhas (YLA President), Pardeep Majotra (Vice President) and other senior members of the Bar.
