Wrestler Sukha of Rajasthan lifts Moori Kesari title

JAMMU, Mar 23 : Pahalwan Sukha of Rajasthan lifted 60th Moori Kesari dangal title after he defeated Mohit Sharma of Haryana in an easy bout that lasted for six minutes at Moori in district Reasi.
Dangal was organized by Peer Baba Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of president J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma and Sarpanch Romesh Chander.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Katra, Ravel Choudhary was the chief guest, who distributed cash prizes among winners and runners-up wrestlers. Shiv Kumar Sharma presided over the function. Prithvi Raj Sharma and Virender Sharma were guests of honour. Sarpanch Mohd Sadiq and general secretary Reasi District Association, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri) were among those prominent present. The chief guest, accompanied by other invitees, gave away cash prize of Rs Rs 13,000 to winner Sukha and Rs 8,000 to runners-up, Mohit Sharma. Rajesh Sharma of J&K Police was named best wrestler of the dangal and presented with a cash prize of Rs 500.
In all, 72 bouts decided in this day-long dangal. The second main bout won by Amrit Paul Singh of Goal Bagh Stadium Amritsar in Punjab beating Gurmail of BSF Chandigarh in Haryana. This bout was Basant of Amritsar defeated FArooq of Sarore in Jammu for the third bout while four main bout went to Umesh of Chandigarh who defeated Ajay Sharma of Landen Power House Udhampur. 5th bout was won by Roshan Lal of Muthi Jammu of J&K Police who defeated Captain of Haryana. Peer Baba Dangal Committee members and technical officials who helped in conduct of this dangal were Badri Nath, Sarpanch Romesh Chander, Om Parkash, Mohan Singh, Sukhdev Sharma, Bodh Raj, Parsotam Sharma, Birbal Sharma, Chuni Lal, Rajinder Kumar, Virender Kumar, Sharma, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Vijay Singh (Biju), Mohd. Fareed, Deepak Wazir, Capt. Lehar Singh,Tulinder Kumar, Raj Singh, Murli Dhar (Munna) and Om Parkash Sharma.
