PDD daily wagers stage protest 6/27/2015 11:37:36 PM Early Times Report Kathua, June 27: PDD Daily Wagers Union, Hiranagar affiliated with Provincial Power Employee Union staged protest demonstration in support of their long pending demands in the premises of office of Hiranagar Sub-Division Office, on sixteenth day. Moreover, Congress activists' calling the demands genuine had extended support to their struggle. Dozens of Congress activists under the leadership of District Congress Committee President Former MLC Subash Gupta joined the protest and supported the genuine demands of protesters. Subash Gupta while expressing his views said that the daily wagers engaged in Kathua district are most aggrieved and dissatisfied with the order of previous convener DPC regarding regularization of daily wagers. Castigating the anti-employee policies of state government, he said that the employees of PDD as well as employees of the other departments also keep on staging protests on and off.
