Jammu, June 27: Registrar General of J&K High Court has directed Sub-Judges who are promoted as Sessions Judges namely S C Kattal, Jatinder Singh Jamwal, Virender Singh Bhau and Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, Rajeev Gupta and Chain Lal Bavoria to join High Court.
According to the order issued by Registrar General Kaneez Fatima that pursuant order Govt order No 1784-LD (A) of 2015 dated June 11, 2015 regarding appointment of C Kattal, Jatinder Singh Jamwal, Virender Singh Bhau and Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, Sub-Judges as District Judges against clear vacancies and temporary appointment of Rajeev Gupta and Chain Lal Bavoria Sub-Judges as district Judges, are hereby permitted to join in High Court of J&K at the respective wings where these officers are presently posted till their permanent posting order issued.
"These officers, except Khalil Choudhary CPC High Court of J&K shall handover the charge to the available senior most Judicial Officer at respective headquarters and Khalil Ahmed Choudhary CPC High Court of J&K is directed to hold the charge of CPC High Court of J&K till his posting order by Full Court, the order stated. Worthwhile to mention here that despite the promotion of these Sub-Judges as District Judges, five posts of Chief Judicial Magistrates (CJMs) viz at Jammu, Srinagar, Pulwama, Doda and Kulgam still are lying vacant.
