BJP woman worker alleges harassment by party leader
Police refuses to register FIR

SRINAGAR, June 29: A woman worker of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Central Kashmir's Budgam district accused party's Central Kashmir President Dr Ali Mohammad of harassment and threatened to approach High court and women commission for legal action against him.
Talking to Early Times, Anisa, daughter of BJP leader Ghulam Mohammad Chopan of Char-i-Sharif constituency said that 'she was physically assaulted by Dr Ali Muhmmad on Saturday on a road in the area in presence of many other party workers while she was one her way to her uncle's Residence at Srinagar.
According to Anisa somebody from Party workers had conveyed to Ali Muhamad that other day Anisa had questioned BJP office in Charar-i-sharief and demanded that it should be shut as there was no permission from the high command for this office.
"My query has irked Dr Ali and he dragged me into his vehicle and physically assaulted me, after that I reached Police station Chanapora but Ali Muhammad Had reached there before me and used his influence and pressurized Police not to Register FIR, but now I will approach to High court and Women commission tomorrow for legal Action against Ali Muhammad," added Anisa.
Accused Dr Ali Muhammad While denying allegations of Anisa said that 'Anisa had every right to go anywhere she wants to go and added that she (Anisa) is unnecessarily creating fuss and making issue when nothing such happened.
"Police has already verified the case and they found nothing and let me tell you now that Anisa herself signed a paper in Police Station in which it was mentioned that she apologizes for what ever happened between me and her, now why is he making issue out of this added Dr Ali Muhammad, BJP central Kashmir President.
According to Husband of Anisa namely Bashir Ahmad Bhat "Anisa is innocent and Dr Ali took signatures of Anisa on blank page without telling Anisa what was written on the paper and now he (Dr Ali Muhammad) claims that Anisa has apologized
Bashir Ahmad said they will approach the High court and office of state women commission for legal action against Dr Ali Muhammad. When Contacted Police station Chanapora, Station House office Concerned said that "allegations are baseless and further details about the case can be confirmed from higher ups of Police."
