KUPWARA, June 29 : Residents of this frontier district in north Kashmir are up in arms against the decision of the teachers to close down the schools in the district against their alleged victimization. “Teachers do not represent the general public of Kupwara and higher authorities should immediately take action against those persons of Education department who are taking law in their hands and are leveling false allegations against Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Kumar Rajiv Ranjan,” said Right to Information Activist (RTI) Rasikh Rasool. “In district Kupwara lobbyism has hit the work culture of all departments,. Lobby of corrupt and selfish persons is unhappy with DC Kupwara’s upright approach,” he added. Teachers forum in past has also managed to get the former CEO Kupwara, Ghulam Rasool Lone transferred by launching an agitation against him.
