Kathua, July 27: Alleging injustice to girls students of high secondary school, the ABVP members while staging a protest outside Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kathua today locked the office for more than 2 hours to register their protest.Earlier highlighting their demands, the ABVP activists said due to lack of infrastructure, girl students are compelled to study under open sky in Govt Hr Secondary School Kathua. Protestors also demanded new infrastructure, classrooms, common room and examination hall. They also said that mark sheets to more than 41 girl students were not issued due to negligence of school authority and board and the same shall be issued at earliest. Protestors also demanded to introduce important subjects like Geography, Education and Sociology in Govt Girls Hr Sec School which are pending from years. ABVP State secretary Rahul Dev said ABVP presented memorandum in front of administration as well as MoS Education but no action has been ensured till date. State Secretary ABVP Rahul Dev , State Joint Secy Pooja Mahajan, Distt Convener Akshay Bharti, City President Naveen Jasrotia and the girl students of Govt Higher Secondary School kathua. |
