| Awareness programme on 'Pollution Control' organised | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Aug 22: An interactive cum awareness session was organized by State Pollution Control Board Ramban for Managers of different wings of M/s Hindustan Construction Company including its Health, Safety and environment department at Sumber in Ramban district.
The programme focussed on awareness and compliance part of this prestigious Katra-Banihal Rail link project.
The stake holders appreciated the programme on environmental pollution and actively participated in the discussion.
Divisional Officer State Pollution Control Board Ramban Kuldeep Bhan gave an overview of the norms and guidelines to be followed while executing the project work. During the session focus was laid on proper management and minimisation of soil waste/scrap on safe and scientific basis while applying the principle of 3 R's that is Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. |
