| Dr Manohar laments Govt. over communal clashes in Jammu | | |

Jammu, Aug 22 : Dr Manohar lal Sharma Senior Congress Leader, Former Minister and General Secretary PCC said that both the Government is responsible for recent communal clashes at Jammu and Samba and trying to create further communal division / differences among the different communities who are living in peaceful atmosphere since long. In press statement issued here, the recent incident occurred in Samba to deeply hurt the sentiment of a particular community after two or three days the first incident happened at Yamuna Alloys situated at Bari Brahmana in which religious books of one community found resulting into sparking of panic in the public of same community. The second incident is of sacrilegious nature in which headless body of animal found in the canal which also creates panic in one community leads to sparking of protest within general masses. The casual approach and irresponsible behavior of local administration and government further deepens the crises. Similarly few months before an incident happened with Sikh community also seems to be of similar pattern and planning. He further said a thread bare high level probe must be conducted to bring the real culprits to book under law of land so that this type of communal incidents may not happen in future as we are already suffering due to militancy . |
