SAMBA, Sept 29: An awareness programme-cum-health camp was organized at village Sangwali by District Social Welfare Office Samba in collaboration with ICDS and Health Department Samba, wherein the health check up of elderly and children was done.
Village Sangwali has been covered under Sansad Adarsh Graam Yojna (SAGY). The people were briefed about the various schemes run by the Social Welfare and ICDS Department. Various Prosthetic aids were also distributed among the old aged persons. Those who spoke on the occasion included Tanvir Malik PO ICDS Samba, Mushtaq Ahmed Chowdhary District Social Welfare Officer Samba, Dr Naved Mirza ENT Specialist, Deepak Kumar CDPO Samba and Tarsem Singh, Sarpanch Sangwali. |
