Rajouri, Sept 29: Terming regional integration as important as national integration, Minister for CAPD and Tribal Affairs , Ch Zulfikar Ali has said that by showing sympathy with all the regions of Jammu Division, the Jammu based leadership should not hesitate in constructing IIT or IIM in Rajouri/Poonch districts as this region has been ignored in the past by the successive governments. Ch Zulfikar Ali was speaking on the occasion of a book release function at village Saj in Rajouri district today where he released the books written by Mohd Bashir Shaad and Shokat Behrotvi.”People must shun the politics of communities and should come under one umbrella and extend their support in the development so that the Pir Panjal regional identity may be created. The time has come to bridge the gap and intellectuals must play their role in it", Minister said. |
