Bhaderwah, Sept 29: Candidates contesting elections of Numberdar of village Thatha, Panchayat Diggi Bhaderwah, have alleged that some government employees have been interfering in the election campaign. According to press release, a candidate Rajinder Kumar alleged that two PHE daily wagers of the same village are busy in election campaign in favour of other candidate and are violating modal code of conduct. Rajinder Kumar in a press conference held here today said some days ago he submitted a written complaint to Tehsildar Bhaderwah about the PHE daily wagers who are openly campaigning in the village and are trying to create wedge among the people but still no action has been taken against them . He said Government employees should not only be impartial but should also appear to be so in relation to the elections. They are required to conduct themselves in such a manner as to instill confidence in the public in regard to their impartiality so that there might not be any occasion for the people to think that the elections would not be held in a free, fair and pair atmosphere. |
