JAMMU, Sept 29: Annual Darbar move of offices will start functioning in this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir from November 9. "The Darbar offices will close in Srinagar on October 30 and reopen in Jammu on November 9," an official here today told.
He said the exercise of Darbar Move will start in Srinagar after week-long Assembly Session from October 3 to 10.
"This year, Secretariat employees from Jammu will have around week's time to spend with the family before offices start functioning," he said. Meanwhile, the winter capital is getting facelift ahead of Darbar Move. Darbar Move is Century old exercise started during Maharaja's period. |
