JAMMU, Sept 29: Demanding review and completion of pending work on priority basis for the smooth conduct of ensuing Navratra festival, the Bahu Fort Developmental Committee (BFDC) appealed to all the concerned departments for taking up the repair and restoration works on war footing. In a statement, BFDC Spokesman Ishant Gupta said that Navratra festival is round the corner and for its smooth conduct BFDC urge the PWD and PDD to repair the roads and electric wires to ensure smooth commuting and uninterrupted power supply.
He also appealed JMC for ensuring proper sanitation and also urged the traffic police in making sure that the devotees do not have to face jams. Gupta also demanded formation of Shrine Board for Mata Maha Kali Shrine (Bawe Wali Mata), Bahu Fort. |
