Jammu, Sept 29 : Sports Training Center of the SAI organized Sports quiz competition for the inmates of the STC and other sports persons at the MA Stadium here on Tuesday.
Ajit Singh, Dy Director SAI Northern Center conducted the quiz and made it interesting through video presentation of the questions as well as the answers. Young sportsmen took keen interest in the quiz and 16 of the total 20 questions based on important sporting events in the history, prominent sportspersons of the world and India, terms and abbreviations related to sports were replied by the boys and girls.
Ranjit Kalra, members J&K State Sports Council gave away the prizes to the winners. Prizes were also given away to the winners of the Hindi Essay competition organized by the STC to commemorate Rashtra Bhasha fortnight. Rishika Khajuria, Kunal Gupta and Neeraj Manhas were adjudged first, second and third respectively. All SAI coaches and parents were also present on the occasion. |
