Jammu, Sept 29 : Dr D.P.Abrol Professor of Entomology of Sher-e-Kashmir university of Agricultural Sciences & Technology has attended 44th APIMONDIA International Apicultural Congress from September 15-19, 2015 at Daejeon Convention Center, Korea organised by Korean Society of Apiculture South Korea under the theme bees connecting world as an invited speaker from India. According to press release, Dr Abrol was invited as a guest speaker to deliver plenary lecture on ''Role of beekeeping in the economic development of India: Challenges and opportunities'' in the Beekeeping Economy session. Besides, delivering invited plenary lecture Prof Abrol also chaired Scientic session on Symposium: Current Situation of Beekeeping Economy. This international conference was attended by more than 6000 participants from more than 88 countries of the world. The participants included scientists from the universities, beekeeping industry, business man and R& D sector around the world. Professor Abrol is a well known Scientist in the field of Apiculture. He has vast experience and expertise on honeybee management, pollination biology, bee ecology, toxicology, economic entomology and pest management. |
