Jammu, Oct 4 : Annoyed over the impuissant BJP's complete failure to espouse Jammu centric matters , a contingent of Panthers Party activists led by Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and Balwant Singh Mankotia State President JKNPP along with other leaders staged a massive protest demonstration at Exhibition Ground here on Sunday.
The angry protestors raised the slogans of 'Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Helicopter Seva Per Se…Tax Hatao, Tax Hatao', 'Kashmir mein Go-Hatyaron ko…Giraftar Karo, Giraftar Karo', 'Jammu Yuva ke liye Dogra Certificate…Jaari Karo, Jaari Karo', and ' Nikkami BJP...Chuppi Todo,Chuppi Todo' Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Harsh Dev Singh called upon the coalition govt. particularly the BJP to ensure resolution of the burning issues of Jammu region in the current Assembly session including roll back of service tax on Helicopter services to Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji shrine, issuance of Dogra certificate to Dogra youth, implementation of Law and High Court orders on beef ban and apprehending the culprits violating the said law, reinstatement of govt. lawyers sacked for defending beef ban, removal of apprehensions on Jammu AIIMS , announcement of Smart City for Jammu, regularization of daily wagers of PHE,PWD,PDD and I&FC, release of emoluments of ReT's and teachers withheld for the last six months, enhancement of honorarium besides regularization of SPO's and VDC's, introduction of amendment bill for delimitation of Assembly constituencies, etc. |
