Jammu, Oct 4: On the eleventh consecutive day today Agriculture Department Casual Labour Union (ADCLU) organized a protest dharna at Krishi Bhawan, Talab Tillo, Jammu against the delaying tactics of Government in framing the policy for regularization of casual labourers
Addressing gathering, president of Union, Rajan Sharma said that complete record of 251 casual labourers is lying in the Administration Department for regularization but till date nothing has been done. He asserted that the casual labourer of the Agriculture Department deserves regularization as they are continuously drawing the wages on Muster sheets through Government Treasuries with effect from 1994. "Moreover the demand of casual labourers for regularization is already in the Agreement which was held on September 15, 2011 between JCC and State Government", he added. The other Leaders of the Association who participated in the protest included Amrik Singh, Naresh Sharma, Rajinder Kumar, JP Verma, Zuffar-ul-Khan, Ravi Kumar, Tilak Raj, Ganesh Sharma, Avtar Chand and Sanju Sharma. |
