Poonch, Jan 22 : Provincial Youth National Conference President and former MLA Poonch Ajaz Jan today expressed concern over the shortage of medicines and doctors in the Sub District Hospital Mandi, saying that the ailing people were feeling left in lurch. He hoped that the Governor's administration will look to this aspect earnestly, as the PDP-BJP dispensation failed in meeting the aspirations of the people in all the sectors. He said this after visiting the hospital along with party workers and added that health-care being most pivotal service, especially in hilly areas and during the current chilly months, needs priority attention. Making a particular a reference of the CT Scan machine, procured in 2014, and said this has become non-productive due to absence of technicians and specialized doctors. Jan expressed anguish over developmental-paralysis across the state, especially its remote pockets during the PDP-BJP dispensation and hoped that the Governor's administration will give due attention to the completion of projects launched during the Omar Abdullah led government. |
