One person held with 24kg puppy straw 1/22/2016 11:37:17 PM Early Times Report Banihal, Jan 22: Police claimed to have arrested one person with 24 kg of poppy straw during a nakka on Jammu-Srinagar highway near Jawahar Tunnel here today. Police reports said that on Friday at about 1030 hrs during a naka checking near Jawahar Tunnel on Jammu Srinagar highway a Maruti car bearing registeration no JK02K /9797 was stopped by police for checking. During the checking 24 kg and 500 grams of poppy straw was recovered from the dickey of the car. The car was driven by driver Ab Hamid son of GH Ahmed Rishi resident of Rani Pura Nagnaran Tehsil Shangus and District Anantnag.
