BJP comfortable with PDP

JAMMU, Feb 1: BJP has still no reservations in formation of government with PDP and has reiterated its earlier stand on agenda of alliance saying it was non-negotiable.
The BJP Core Group which met here today at the residence of Ashok Kaul, party general secretary, has said that it is PDP which has to clear its stand as BJP has already made its stand known.
The members of Core Group besides Ashok Kaul included of BJP Legislature Party leader, Dr Nirmal Singh, State president of the Party, Sat Sharma, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Party general secretaries Dr Narinder Singh, Rajiv Jasrotia and Manish Sharma.
The party during two hour long meeting discussed various issues including the formation of the Government in the State and stand taken by PDP yesterday on the formation of next government.
Later talking to reporters Sat Sharma said that his party has not changed its stand on agenda of alliance and it will stick to that. He said that the onus on Government Formation lies with PDP and it has to clear its stand.
Later a three member team of BJP led by Sat Sharma left for New Delhi to discuss the issue with Party High Command including national president Amit Shah and party national general secretary (Org) Ram Lal and national vice president Prabhari J&K, Avinash Rai Khanna.
The other members of the team included BJP Legislative party leader Dr Nirmal Singh and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma. The BJP team will apprise the High Command about the prevailing situation in the State in the aftermath of PDPs stand in delaying Government Formation.
It will also seek the advice of High Command guidelines regarding future course of action. The BJP leaders however made it clear that no pre-conditions for Government Formation will be acceptable and both the parties have to act as per the agenda of alliance and nothing except that.
