Warning issued 8/26/2016 10:52:44 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 26: The general public is hereby informed that in order to maintain the dam and power house of Salal Power station and to retain the water at a required level, the water level of Chenab River can increase or decrease at any point of time in between 28.08.2016 (8 AM) to29.08.2016 (8 AM). Everybody residing besides the upstream and downstream of Salal Dam is requested not to venture near the River bank. They should also avoid their cattle and their trucks going to the river side. This co-operation will support to save the general public and their belongings.
