Jammu, Aug 26: The body of one of the three Siblings, who had drowned after being washed away by sudden rise of water in Tawi River on August 24, was recovered today from close to an international border in city outskirts here. "Body of elder boy namely Surya Partap, son of Head Constable Parbhu Nath Rai recovered from Nikki Tawi River, 6 km short of IB on left bank of river near Kaliyal," official spokesperson here said. The body of younger child namely Adarsh was already recovered yesterday from the river bed, he said. Siblings drowned while one rescued on August 24, when they were into the river bed and the water level suddenly swelled due to rains in the upper reaches. |
