Jammu, Sept 18: The J&K Citizen Advisory Forum has condemned terrorist attack on Bn HQ at Uri today.
In a joint statement issued by S/ shri Justice (rtd ) K K Gupta , Arvind Mahajan KC , Vijay SarafSecy Amar Singh Club, Er C P Gupta Hotelier, Kiran Watal Former Commissioner JMC, Jugal Mahajan Social Activist, Ratan Lal Gupta Former Legislator , K K Bhakhri, Hari Singh Chib, Manish Gupta Early Times, Arun Sharma, Vinod Luthra, both Former Chief Engineers, Er Vinod Sharma and others made a scathing attack on Pakistan for raging proxy war against India said I C Jandial Former Chief Engineer and CAF chairman.
CAF members said our neighbour is fueling unrest in Kashmir valley for the last 71 days and supporting separatists in calling the shots after the killing of a most wanted terrorist thus paralyzing life in the valley. I C Jandial added that the forum is of the opinion that a time has come for the Central Govt to act more effectively with Pakistan and dismantle terrorists camps in POK once for all to get rid of this cancer otherwise the Forum is afraid that such repeated attacks like Pathankot Air base and now Army camp Uri which the defense experts are terming as the biggest attack on a military establishment in last 10 years shall continue to be witnessed. I C Jandial further said that the forum expresses its deep condolences to the the bereaved families of the 17 martyred soldiers in today attack The forum further appealed to Jammu people to keep restraint and maintain peace at this trying time when the enemy country wants this unrest to spread in other parts of Jammu & Kashmir. |
