Jammu jawans make supreme sacrifice in Uri 9/19/2016 12:02:53 AM Early Times Report Samba, Sept 18: Small village in the Ramgarh sector of Samba district slipped in deep grief and mourning as the news of Ravi Pal reached Sunday morning. Ravi was one of the 17 army jawans who were killed in the terrorist attack. Ravi's younger brother is also in the Army. While pal of gloom descended on the family, the elder brother of the martyr said that while his brother's demise had left a void in their lives that would never be filled, his family was proud of the supreme sacrifice made by his brother. Ravi Pal is survived by his parents, wife and two sons Ansh and Vansh studying in 2nd and 4th class respectively. Another Army Jawan Karnail Singh S/o Nand Lal R/o Shibu Chack, Bishnah is another martyr from Jammu in Uri encounter. As soon as the news of Martyrdom of Subedar Karnail Singh Dogra of 10 Dogra Regmt son of Nand Lal reached the Shibu Chak village in Bishnah the Pall of gloom ascended on the entire village. Subedar Karnail Singh who was supposed to come on leave to his native place next month was martyred in Uri in a Fidayeen attack in wee hours of Sunday at Brigade headquarter. The villagers did not prepare their food for today as soon as they received the news of martyrdom of Subedar Karnail Singh.
