Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Sept 18: The intelligence agencies keeping an eye on anti militancy activities in Jammu and Kashmir are suspecting use of chemical weapons by the Pakistani based spy agency Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) in Sunday's Uri terror attack in which 19 soldiers achieved martyrdom while several others got injured, many of them succumbing to critical burn injuries.
Sources informed "Early Times" that the initial reports suggested that the terrorist killed in today's encounter at Uri might have used chemically loaded small smart bombs on the army tents/sheds that caught massive fire within few minutes and gave no time to the army personals to save themselves as a result of which around 14 soldiers died immediately. The sources said that if reports of use of chemical weapons by the militants involved in today's Uri terror attack were found true, it will be a daunting task for the security forces to tackle such attacks in future, beside will be a major security threat to civilian lives and properties.
Sources said that if the probe established the use of Chemical weapons by the militants in today's terror attack, it will be a major challenge for the world as in past the name of Pakistan or its citizen's had surfaced in many terror attacks that took place across the world. The sources said that the government of India should take up the matter with world's leading nations by sharing the details pertaining to Uri terror attack carried out at the instance of Pakistan, beside warning them about the access of Chemical weapons in the hands of the militants who are frequently carrying out major terror strikes in India, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.
"We are sure some chemicals are used by the militants in today's Uri terror attack--- Let us come out with solid evidence so that a case against Pak could be taken up" said an intelligence officer wishing anonymity.
Sources further informed "Early Times" that both LeT and JeM who were involved in today's Uri terror attack are working jointly under the close command of Pakistani army and its spy agency ISI adding that both the militant organizations are using Over Ground Workers (OGW) network and sleeper cell network in Kashmir valley to carry out successful terror attack in J&K. The sources said that these sleeper cells and OGW grid is also actively involved in ongoing unrest in Kashmir valley and are playing their part in fuming trouble and are working under the direct command and control of masters sitting across the border. The sources said that many of these OGWs taking advantage of Kashmir unrest are roping in the services of surrender militants or influential people to strengthened its base and expend its network to attack security camps and Pro India politicians.
