JAMMU, Sept 18: To mark Vishwakarma Pooja Divas celebrations, Pradesh Vishwakarma Shaba (PVS), J and K, on Sunday organized a function to honour the meritorious students and others who have excelled in art, sports and culture. The function was chaired by Shashi Verma, Working President of the Sabha. Vice chairman OBC Advisory Board (MOS) Rashpal Verma was the Chief Guest while former Vice Chairman OBC Advisory Board, Kuldeep Raj Verma, RL Cahrgotra , Vice President Akhil Bhartiya Vishwa karma Mahsabha were the guests of honour . A total of 80 students were honoured on the occasion with a Certificate of Excellence along with a memento. The Chief Guest congratulated the honoured students and appreciated their hard work. Awards were given away by the chief guest including prominent Vishwakarma personalities like Dr Neeru Verma , Sudershan salalaria , Dr ArijitRai , Dr Sushant Arun Jaral, Prof. Poonam Angotra and Baldev Raj Malhotra . Vijay Mukar , president of Shakti nagar Unit appealed the community members to support the sabha by all possible means Rattan Lal chagotra and RC Angotra emphasized that youth and women are still lagging to come forward to strengthen the organization. |
