Seminar on 'Challenges in Jammu and Kashmir' held

Jammu, Sept 18: Panun Kashmir organized a seminar the topic of which was "Challenges in Jammu and Kashmir".
The seminar was organized to discuss the present situation in the state arising out of unleashing of an armed seditious unrest in Kashmir which is gradually spreading to the Muslim majority areas of Jammu province also.
Main speakers in the seminar were Prof Hari Om, historian, prolific writer and columnist and Convenor of Jammu for India, Agnishekher, Convenor Panun Kashmir, Ajay Chrungoo, Chairman Panun Kashmir. Hari Om,who also presided over described the internal situation in Jammu and Kashmir as very grim and war like. ' There is no scope for soft pedaling or expediency now. Attack on Army camp in Uri today clearly brings out the nature of the situation, we are witnessing an unfolding armed rebellion.' He further said that the Political establishment of Kashmir has now become brazenly secessionist and communal. ' Six million Hindus, Sikhs and Bhudhists living in the state are face to face with a survival battle. The quadripartition of the state of Jammu and Kashmir is an imperative necessity now. Creating a state of Jammu, Union territories of Ladhakh and Panun Kashmir can only save India in Jammu and Kashmir.'
Ajay Chrungoo in his presentation said the unrest in Kashmir is an continuity which was allowed to be built by the governments in New Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir. ' The seditious movement in Jammu and Kashmir is Islamo- fascist movement. Greater Autonomy, self rule politics opened Jammu and Kashmir to Islamo- fascism.' He said expulsion of Hindus in 1990 and Hindu employees appointed recently is also a continuity of a religious cleansing campaign.All this can be only stopped if we prepare to fight Islamo- fascism in its all forms. Panun Kashmir creation is the only sure way to re- establish Hindus back in Kashmir permanently. Agnishekhar in his presentation stated reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir by carving out Jammu state and union territories of Panun Kashmir North and East of River Jhelum and Ladhakh can only save Jammu and Kashmir from fundamentalist secessionist scourge . He informed the audience that support for Panun Kashmir is growing with each day and urged all people to strengthen the movement. Leading Journalist, writer and analyst Sant Kumar Sharma urged that all the patriotic forces have to resolve to fight and be ready for sacrifice. His book On Article 370 was released on the occasion. Sh Prem Nath Shad Kashmiri poet paid obeisance to martyrs by reciting his poem. Sh Shailendra Aima conducted the proceedings.
