Jammu, Sept 18: Approved by Chairman , SMVDSB/ Governor J&K, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has constituted it's Governing Council for shrine board Sports, Katra. Vide order no. SMVDSB/CEO/633-642 Dated 9.9.2016,
The Governing council has been constituted to prepare plans for specialized training to identified players for enhancing excellence in sports arena and to suggest the measures and interventions for overall sporting activity and review the achievements/progress on periodical basis. Several sportspersons od national international repute have been nominated on the governing council, which include Dr. Ashok Bhan, member Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine board, Katra as Chairman, CEO, shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine board, as member, Additional CEO, SMVDSB, Katra as member/ Convenor, Director sports, SMVDSB as member, Ashwani Nachappa, Arjuna Awardee -Athletics 1988 as member, Krupali Singh, Arjuna Awardee- Gymnastics 1989 as member, Sanjeeva Singh, Arjuna Awardee - Archery 1992 as member, Samresh Jung, Arjuna Awardee- shooting 2002 as member. |
