JKTF holds an emergency high level meeting

JAMMU, Sept 18: Ahigh level meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held today at Jammu under the Chairmanship of Mr. Ganesh Khajuria, State Gen. Secretary of the Forum. The meeting was attended by all the district Presidents of the Forum. The demands highlighted in the meeting included; Release of master Grade list of Feb 2014 which is pending for the last 2½ years, while the counter parts of Kashmir Province have became senior to the Jammu Province Masters which delays their claim for the Gazetted posts in Education Department. This is a great injustice to the masters of Jammu Province. Promotion list of Masters to Headmasters be issued immediately as many Schools are working without Headmasters. Filling up of all posts of ZEO's and Principals, Holding of DPC of +2 Lecturers in various streams, Release of NPS grants well in time, Hike in the honorarium of RET's upto 10,000 p.m, Release of Mid-day meal Scheme's grants well in time and Regularization of Headmasters ZEO's Lecturers & Principals. Prominent who attended the meeting included Rajinder Gupta, Yog Raj Singh, Soorat Singh Toofani, Gopal Singh and others.
