Jammu, Oct 18: Jammu Kashmir Aarakshan virodhi Party held a protest at Jantar Mantar Delhi under the banner of Anti Reservation Movement organised by U S Rana President AVP. Ram Pal Seth , President Jammu Kashmir AVP. Madan Lal Narad General Secretary and Sat Pal Sharma participated in the protest, All the Anti Reservation organisations from different parts of the country such as Orissa, Bihar, UP , MP, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan , Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi and Punjab attended in large number. All the speakers condemned the present system of reservation in one voice. Slogans were raised like ," Say no to reservation ". Aarakshan Bharat chhodo" Aarak-shan hatao Desh bachao etc.
While speaking on the occasion Ram Pal Seth criticised the policies of government for increasing the reservation from time to time which has hampered the career of so many youth of the general category. The talent is being depressed.
Madan Lal Narad General Secretary of the Aarakshan Virodhi Party warned the Government to immediately stop the present system of caste based reservation . He said , " caste is never poor ". It is the class which is poor . Poor from all sections of the society who are to be provided with special support measures. He appealed to all political parties and their leaders to stop dividing the society on caste basis. Today after 67 years of adopting our constitution we need to stop politics over caste and religion and solve the problem of poor by taking genuine steps for their upliftment. Narad criti-cised the statement made by some of the politicians who in order to gain political mileage use dalits as vote bank rather than socially and economical upliftment of the downtrodden thus making in true sense sabka saath sabka Vikas.He appealed all the people of general category to come on one platform and fight against the present system of reservation.
