Rifle snatching plan to force Kashmiris quit JK police
10/18/2016 11:37:07 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 18: The terrorists and their handlers across the border have started a new process to intimidate the J&K police: disarm them. In a series of attacks the terrorists are snatching the rifles to intimidate the force to resign .
The strategy has been devised as violent attacks and killings of Kashmiri police personnel has evoked sharp reaction from the locals, which goes against sinister game plan of the actors across the border who are trying to build a narrative by putting up Kashmiri people against the Indian state.
During three-months of continous lockdown police personnel were attacked and even hardliner SAS Geelani and others in the separatists camp have given call to the Kashmiri police personnel not to stand against the protestors.
It was veiled attack forcing the Kashmiris to give up their job. But, it has not worked as about one lakh Kashmiris are in the state police and forcing them to quit job would mean that they will leave about five-lakh Kashmiris without any livelihood .
"This is some thing they realized latter after people started questioning the logic of forcing such a large population without any means to fend for themselves. It generated discussion against the separatists and they then in discussion with their handlers across the border have devised this strategy. They will snatch their weapons. Infuse fear in them and this fear factor will be further increased forcing the police personnel to leave the job on his own rather than by direct intimidation by the separatists," said a senior official.
This new terrorists' strategy is also a plan to keep the pot boiling of disturbance in the valley with the writ of the fear, at a time when the protests are slowly dying down and people are openly defying the protests 'calendar' issued by the separatists.
The army though expressing concern over the situation has been holding discussion with the state police to counter this terrorist strategy.
"We will start the counter- insurgency operation with much more ferocity to an extent that it will infuse so much fear in the terrorist camp that they will think twice before daring this act. Just, wait for some days and results will come on the ground," said a senior official.
