JAMMU, Oct 18: Partiality has been alleged by some players during a kabaddi match between the teams of two schools. One of the players, while speaking to Early Times, alleged that the refree had favoured one of the teams during a kabaddi match between a higher secondary school of Sunjwan and another school. Biased decision of the officials had taken the game spirit out of the players, he alleged, saying it would have been better had the refree declared the other team winner before the start of the match. Despite their better performance, the other team was given more points, which 'speaks of his partiality towards them', he alleged. Another player said despite their warning to the referee not to give biased decisions during the match, he favoured the other team. He also alleged that officials had been taking the refreshment which otherwise was meant for players. After their complaint to the higher officials, they were now being given glucose only, he alleged. "Even our luggage goes missing from the match venue," the players alleged, saying there was also no proper drinking water facility for them. |
