Jammu, Oct 18: Demanding justice to their issues without any further delay, All Migrant Employees Association Kashmir stated that it is high time for both state and centre to understand the basic problems of package and non-package employees serving in valley for last more than five years. The employees also torched the effigy of state administration to draw attention of governments towards their miseries.
These employees were looking annoyed and depressed from the governments over their attitude towards the peace loving and nationalist people who are protesting continuously for last more than three months here at the office of relief commissioner just to save their dignity and honour.
Carrying placards and banners in their hands, hundreds of irritated employees were seen protesting and raising slogans in support of their demands. They stated that both state and centre governments must understand the concerns of employees who wanted to work under free and favourable environment.
"It is very pathetic that for last 94th days we are pressing for our legitimate demands but unfortunately state and centre governments are paying no attention towards us. It seems that they have turned blind eye towards our problems," said, Seema who criticised the state government for watching their plight as a mute spectator.
These employees are demanding that governments must adjust them at camps offices in Jammu till they will feel favourable working conditions and sense of security in valley.
The employees also demanded immediate release of their all pending salaries without forcing them to join duties at the prevailing circumstances. They said that government must not stop salaries of employees' in view ensuing festival of Deepawali. They said that they wanted to work and then only demand salaries but it is up to the government to utilise their services in Jammu.
