Several roads in dilapidated condition despite lakhs spent

Poonch, Oct 18: Despite spending lakhs of rupees on the coustruction of roads several vital roads in Mendhar tehsil were in dilapidated condition since last five years the sources said here today.
The road connecting Gursai nakah from Jaran Wali Gali is in the bad shape locals said that this road was constructed a number of times since last five years but as on today the road is neither black topped nor motorable, nor it has any drainage system.
Another road leads from Grid station Dargaloon to Bassoni. The road lenth is 6 Kms. This road was constructed by PWD Sub Divion mendhar and the cost of the construction of this road was Rs 1.30 cr.
Sources said the road has been constructed onlythree kilometers was block topped also but after the construction of two months the road was again in bad shape where as Rs 70 lakh has been withdrawn by the blue eyed contractor on March 2016.

Since the Bassoni road was a vital link to connect Blakot which would bebefit the 10000 souls of this village has not been constructed despite more than 50% amont of its construction has been withdrawn by the favourite contractor talking to Early Times, adding we urge the concerned authorities to take things in right perspective.
