"Akshay Suri, who is ration dealer (CAPD's fare price shop) holder in Dharamsal Panchayat of Block Siot has been shown as MGNREGA vendor and a payment of Rs 5,55,200 has been released in his favour", sources said and added that another payment of atleast of Rs 2 lakh has been released in favour of one Raj Kumar, who is from Traru Panchayat of Block Mohgla. They further said that another payment of Rs 6,61,000 has been released in favour of Ajay Kumar who has been shown as vendor for all 19 Panchayat of Kalakote block through backdoor. "Another payment of atleast of Rs 6 lakh has been released in favour of Shakti Kumar, who also is an outsider, and his name was illegally inserted into list of vendors by the concerned VLW", they said and added that there was a nexus of several VLWs, JSA and Technical Assistants, who has been misleading BDO Kalakote and ACD Rajouri to make fictitious payments. They said that however, the ACD Rajouri few days back transferred over 60 VLWs and tried to break the nexus on the recommendations of BDO, but the nexus still has deep roots in the block, as it is operating for years, prior to posting of incumbent BDO in Kalakote block. |
